There’s been yet another tragic suicide of a Trans youth in Lancaster PA: an extraordinary young man named Ashton Clatterbuck. A Pennsylvania state Senator who has proposed banning Alison Bechdel’s “Fun Home” includes on his book ban list, Mike Curato’s “Flamer,” an LGBTQ youth book that has won over 20 national book awards and recognitions. Pennsylvania State Senator Ryan Aument who serves Lancaster and has authored state legislation called worse than Florida’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill, said his proposed legislation is not a book ban. The York Dispatch asserted that Senator Aument is part of a group of politicians they say are “anti-queer baiting.” Associations and clips from the movie, “Alien” and Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rebecca.” Finally the author of the video publicly poses an open question to State Senator Ryan Aument regarding the recent string of Trans youth suicides in his home county of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. www.angrygaygrandpa.com
