Two roughly drawn dogs have some things to say about trans kids and chairs in Pennsylvania — it seems that in the Keystone State, a chair is worth more than the life of a trans kid.
Yes, you read that right. The state charged Vermont filmmaker, James Lantz (aka Angry Gay Grandpa) with over $17,000 in fines and restitution for protesting a MAGA Republican and former state senator, Ryan Aument, who ignored five trans youth suicides in his own county -- all while pushing anti-LGBTQ and anti-trans legislation.
The reason for the $17K in charges? Watch the video (it involves glue and a chair).
And when James (and even one of the grieving parents) tried to contact then-Senator Aument? Crickets. Silence. Nothing.
So the dogs are here to tell the story — because sometimes it takes two roughly drawn cartoon mutts to tell a crazy tale, and to help get the word out.
